Solar for a Cause | Sun Collectors x Center for Prevention of Abuse

Go solar. Give back.

Sun Collectors is proud to partner with the Center for Prevention of Abuse (CFPA) through Solar for a Cause, a community partnership that turns solar appointments and completed installations into direct support for survivors of violence and abuse in central Illinois.

When a home, farm, or business owner mentions CFPA at the time of scheduling their appointment, Sun Collectors will donate:

  • $100 for each first completed in-person consultation per property
  • $2,000 for each completed installation

This program is available for eligible properties within our 70-mile service radius around Peoria, Illinois and runs through April 30, 2027.

About Solar for a Cause

A community partnership with purpose

Sun Collectors is honored to launch Solar for a Cause, a community partnership with the Center for Prevention of Abuse, an agency that has served the Greater Peoria area since 1975, helping women, men, and children live free from violence and abuse.

This program connects clean energy with meaningful local impact. When a prospective client mentions CFPA at the time of scheduling and completes their first in-person solar consultation for a property, Sun Collectors will donate $100 to the Center for Prevention of Abuse. If that project moves forward to installation, Sun Collectors will donate an additional $2,000 after the installation is completed.

It is one more way we can support the communities we serve while helping property owners explore the benefits of solar.
