Sun Collectors is proud to participate in the Illinois Shines program as a qualified Designee. This designation means we are officially authorized to operate under a registered Approved Vendor, who is responsible for submitting projects into the Illinois Shines incentive program.
The Illinois Shines program allows for two types of participants:
This model is very common, especially for companies that prefer to focus on high-quality installation, customer service, and local presence rather than administrative processes. All projects we complete still go through the same program requirements and quality standards.
In short, while we’re not the filing entity, we are fully approved to offer Illinois Shines incentives to our customers, and our installations meet all state program guidelines.
