We have had an amazing experience from start to finish with everyone in this company (Ben, Kate, everyone we spoke with provided exceptional customer service experience) and who they work with. They have made the process of getting solar panels SO easy. It is not a long, difficult process because they literally do all of the hard work and have you sign what is needed. Everyone has been so professional. Hunter and his team have gone above and beyond to address ANY questions or concerns we had and responded in SUCH a timely manner. We truly cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Sun Collectors or any of their employees. Would highly recommend, 100%! (And they are very competitively priced, right along with other premium solar companies, we checked)
I have dealt with a lot of customer service in my life but the customer service at Sun collectors is top notch! Kate was totally awesome and handled everything I ever asked for or needed with such a great attitude. It felt like family. William was our sales consultant and he was extremely knowledgeable and polite. Not one time did we ever feel pressured in any way. I recommend sun collectors to everyone I know and don’t know.

My wife, Theresa, and I have been totally pleased with the honesty and professionalism displayed by Will Grant and Hunter Trenary of Sun Collectors. Everything they told us from the first meeting has come true. Our array of panels has been producing since January 20th. On sunny days even in the short daylight hours of winter, 30-40 kWh of electricity is being produced. I’m surprised that electricity is even produced in cloudy days. As promised we received an incentive check immediately upon installation. When we filed our federal taxes yesterday, we received the 30% tax credit of the purchase price, which will be deposited into our checking account within 10 days. We will also be receiving a check for over $12,000 through the Illinois Shines program in the near future. On more than one occasion, we have told neighbors and friends that they should talk with Hunter and will as they will get nothing but the truth. Why not let the sun produce your electricity?
We had good experiences with the whole process. Our initial sales contact with Hunter was around the beginning of November so for us it was 2 1/2 months from beginning to being up and running. Our system design did go through a couple small changes during the process but it didn’t really change much, we just had to sign a couple edited documents. Our system passed all inspections on the first go and everything was made really easy for us. We chose the 12 year loan option which means we will be paying a little more than our normal electric bill but if we did the 20 year option our payment would have been very comparable to our normal electric bill. Our system has been up on our house for about 6 months now and we have had no issues at all with it.
Great communication throughout the process. There are various steps involved, but Sun Collectors took care of everything and made it an easy, seamless transition.

Hunter Trenary and William Grant are the two most impressive men I have met in a very long time! They took time to explain in detail, answer questions and followed through on every aspect of installation! Living in southern Nevada my power bill has been very impressive!! My last bill was $13.64! Unheard of in this area! I couldn’t be happier! They are awesome!

Hunter and Daniel were knowledgeable about their product and catered their services to my needs. Their service was far better than the other three solar companies that’s approached me and was always able to get in contact, especially after the panel installation. Would highly recommend to anyone else who is interested in going solar to talk to them.
